I’ll be hosting an event in Boston on March 12th that I wanted to tell you about. It’s a little thing called Mystery Meet. And, although there may be meat at this Mystery Meet, it has nothing to do with hot dogs or gefilte fish (but, hold tight, it does have to do with whiskey). In short, Mystery Meet is a monthly dining event happening in multiple cities across the US. There are five clues that are sent out about the restaurant leading up to the event and the venue is only revealed a day before the actual Mystery Meet takes place.
You may be asking what I – a drinks person – is doing hosting one of these dining events. Well, let me explain. When I was approached to do said Mystery Meet they used the magic word on me. What is this magic word, you ask? Well, of course, it is: whiskey. The word whiskey to me is a little like kryptonite is to superman. I have no power against it. And this particular Mystery Meet dining experience will be hosted as a whiskey pairing event.
This is not the mystery location. It is just a cool picture of a bar window.
So, anyway, I’m hosting this whiskey pairing Mystery Meet on March 12th (just a few day’s shy of St. Patrick’s Day) and you should come on down to this mystery location and join me. I can’t promise you anything other than that it will be fun and there will be whiskey, meat of some kind and some fellow Bostonians out looking for a good time. And of course, yours truly will be there to answer all of your burning questions about whiskey and why you should drink it daily.
