THE CITRINE (From Facundo Neo Rum)
2 parts Facundo Neo Silver Rum ($45)
¾ part Lillet Blanc
¾ part Fresh Squeezed Clementine Juice
¼ part Benedictine
In a mixing glass, stir all ingredients except sparkling wine until very cold. Pour into flute and top with sparkling wine. Garnish with gold leaf.
THE HUMBOLDT (Created by Erik Eastman for Prairie Organic)
1 ½ oz Prairie Organic Gin ($20)
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
½ oz St. George Spirits Spiced Pear Liqueur
¼ teaspoon Easy & Oskey Grapefruit Bitters
Dry Sparkling Wine
Stir gin, vermouth, pear liqueur and bitters over clean ice for at least 30 seconds. Strain into a champagne flute or coupe glass. Top with 2 or 3 ounces of the sparkling wine. Garnish with lemon twist.
20TH CENTURY SPARKLER (From Dry Fly Distilling)
1 oz. Dry Fly Triticale Whiskey ($65)
½ oz. Fresh lemon juice
½ oz. White chocolate syrup
Shake first three ingredients. Pour into a coupe or flute glass. Top with sparkling wine. Garnish with a cherry.
LE FIZZ (From Grey Goose)
1 ½ parts Grey Goose vodka ($30)
1 part St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
¾ part freshly squeezed lime juice
2 parts soda water
Build all ingredients APART from soda water in a Boston glass. Top with cubed ice and shake. Fine strain into a chilled flute. Top with chilled soda water.
MIDNIGHT ZEST (From Brockmans Gin)
2 parts Brockmans Gin ($35)
1 part Freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 part Sugar syrup
Top with sparkling wine
Shake the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup with cubed ice. Strain into a champagne flute and top with the sparkling wine. Garnish with a twist of lemon zest.
BEE’S KNEES ROYALE (Created by Brittany Chadbourne for Maison Ferrand)
2 oz. Citadelle Gin ($25)
¾ oz. honey syrup*
¾ oz. fresh lemon juice
¼ oz. sparkling wine
*Honey syrup: warm 1 part honey and mix warmed honey with 1 part water. Let stand until room temperature.
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake. Fine strain into a Champagne flute and top with Champagne.
